Communications training on sailing yachts: Experiential Learning

The success of an organisation largely depends on good communication. After all, this is the way your team-members will be motivated to use their knowledge and skills. Our communications training, meant for both teams and managers, aim at the increase of insight of communication and to improve communication-skills. When communication is used as a strategy, your team and its members will get better results and they will stay more involved with you organisation.

We have the experience that sailing is an excellent way to improve the output of communications training. Sailing is a very active sport, which asks a lot of those who practises it. Next to the preparations, navigation, safety along the way and steering the yacht, is the way the crew works together an essential aspect of a successful trip. Every aspect of working together, communication and leadership is touched upon during sailing. This makes sailing a perfect sport to combine with communications training. Above all, sailing is a lot of fun, so the pleasant is combined with the useful.

At the Le Belle Trainings-centre we give two kinds of trainings:

Management training and team coaching. We work together with professionally educated and experienced trainers from different backgrounds. We put the personal goals of the participants at the centre of our trainings. Each training will be designed to fully support the wishes of the organisation and learning-goals of the participants.
