Which company is the fastest?
During the sailing-season all the groups will sail a course over the ‘Markermeer' separately. The time will be noted for all these groups. You will sail according to the handicap-system, which means that a smaller yacht has a smaller handicap than a bigger one. The only choice everyone has got is to sail the course left or right. On the yacht there will be a skipper present. Obviously, the goal is to sail the course as fast as possible.
All the noted times will be posted on the internet, so it can be viewed by all the contestants. At the end of the season, all the participants will be invited and the first prize will be given to the winning team. This team can hold on to the cup for a whole year and will off course be invited to defend the cup at the end of the next season.
Off course, each yacht will be supplied with enough catering for the day, including lunch and after the race there will be a happy hour on board.
